I had graced the largest mountain tops
had soared the highest skies,
had watched it falling through the night
and yes, right before my eyes.

I had seen it in the spring time
when the flowers were fresh and new,
I had seen it in the winter
and when the grass was touched with dew.

I had found what I was searching for
it was right there all along,
it was there while I was breathing
while the hummingbird whistled his song.

It was there every waking moment
with every new sunrise,
it was there when I permitted
it was there when I searched high above the skies.

I finally found my answers
this truth, my epiphany revealed to me,
that life has to have purpose
and it can only be found in me.

The dreariness it binds me
No existence of light glowing within and no longer do I feel
The truth buried so deep inside of me
A soul filled with wounds, which can not heal.

My breath it lingers, I can see its moisture on the mirror

Pallid skin, sad now the image, so inferior
The aging of my countenance, reflects no youthful glee.

Crying, oh the madness that surrounds me

I’ve savored it
the idea that it provokes
the feelings it reveals
for one fleeting moment

I’ve grasped it
it’s truth I felt in my heart
not in thine hands though
oh, for one fleeting moment

I felt raptured
I felt real and true
like nothing I’ve felt before
it was there, for one fleeting moment…

Oh, and how it hurt
when it was gone
for one fleeting moment
I was on cloud nine…

For one fleeting moment
it belonged to me
for one menacing second
it was so gone…

I’ve tasted it
yes, it was sweet
for one fleeting moment
it truly was only mine…

For one fleeting moment
do you feel it too?
hold on tight

Warm glowing fire
family gathered round
sweet cheerful laughter
oh, can you hear the melodious sound
this is winter

sweet smells are baking
smiles basking in the glow of firelight
no leaves left for raking
warm shadows glowing bright
this is winter

time for giving
christmas trees all filled with lights
a new beginning
all the new beautiful sights
this is winter

the warmth of a nice cozy bed
the family all snuggled in
the room filled with greens and reds
wondering how this year will end…
this is winter

new beginning
the trees will soon be full again
the caroler’s singing
to bring the new year in…

I have a pocket full of sunshine, and want to share it with you!

I am fairly new to blogging, so bare with me, while I add to this blog.
I’ve been designing for over 6 years now,
and hope to bring you a wonderful design world filled with color.
My motto is to design with you in mind.
Simply put, my designs are inspired by you.

You’ll learn new things about me, as well as, to grab freebies I post on this blog.
I only ask a couple of favors. Grab what you want, and offer a thank you. Please do not post my graphics on your site, claim as your own, or share in any kind of group. Most of my items are made in PSP for general tag making, however, I am learning how to create items for digital scrappers, as well. So, at times, I will offer items for digital scrapbooking too.
